Welcome to the Millburn Township Public Schools
As the Superintendent of this outstanding school district, I take pride in the dedication and support of our students, staff, and community that sustain the continuing excellence of our exceptional schools.
Thanks to community support of a bond referendum in 2016 we have opened the new 5th Grade Washington School, a center for student-focused teaching and learning in innovative ways.
Our district is making strides in being future-ready at all levels. We are proud to announce that all of our Millburn Schools have been certified as Future Ready by the Future Ready Schools New Jersey Committee, at the Bronze level. This designation was attained through supporting school and district efforts to best prepare students for success in college, career, and citizenship in the digital age.
We have embraced the opportunity for building innovative spaces in all of our schools. Through the 2016 referendum the High School MILL (Millburn Innovative Learning Lab) and the Middle School innovative spaces were created through renovations to existing spaces. The elementary redesigned classrooms provide flexible class areas to allow student collaboration on design challenges, research and creative problem solving necessary for the 21st century learner.
While our emphasis is always on teaching and learning, we are also mindful of the need to focus on the health and wellness of our community. We have established Health & Wellness committees at each school, and are focusing on educating students, and parents, about resilience and learning how to reduce stress.
Our Health & Wellness website has links to community resources and hotlines that are available 24 hours a day. The Millburn High School Student Center also provides support for students and families who may be struggling with anxiety and stress, depression or just need some time for talk.
This website is designed to provide information to our community, as well as current and future school families. If you have questions or need information, please click Contact Us and send us a message.
