The Millburn Board of Education announces a vacancy for a Board position.  The individual selected will serve as a member of the Board of Education from the date of appointment (anticipated September 8, 2025) through December 31, 2025.  Interested individuals must be a resident of Millburn for at least one (1) year, at least 18 years of age, able to read and write, a citizen of the United States, registered to vote in the District, not disqualified as a voter, not directly/indirectly interested in a contract with, or a claim against, the Board, and able to pass a criminal background check.  Qualified candidates should submit a letter of interest and a resume to Peter Starrs, Interim Business Administrator/Board Secretary, and Millburn Board of Education, either by mail or email to the above address.  Applications will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2025.  Applicants will be invited to the September 8, 2025, Board meeting and offered the opportunity to make a 3-minute public statement supporting their candidacy.
